Raman and team completed our ground floor side return and loft extension in Weybridge over a 14 month period in 2022-3. It was a big job because our house is Victorian (built in 1988) and as a result turned into a full house renovation as electrics and plumbing were so old they needed completely redoing. We are quite particular people (my partner is a bit of a perfectionist!) and Raman was patient and accommodating. Communication was good throughout and we felt he was very trustworthy and honest. As expected with any project this size, we came up against unknown hurdles, but Ramans honesty, transparency and candour made it easy to tackle as possible. Work was completed to a high standard and we’re really happy with the result. We would recommend using Raman for any development project.

Exceptional Loft & Cellar Conversions by Kapconversions

Kapconversions carried out a hip to gable loft conversion for us back in 2017, and we were incredibly impressed with the entire experience. The project was professionally managed from start to finish, delivered on time and within budget, and finished to an excellent standard — we couldn’t have asked for more.

More recently, they also completed a cellar conversion for us at our home in Chiswick, which included floor levelling, a new staircase, wall panelling, integrated wine rack, and lighting. The attention to detail was outstanding, and the final result has completely transformed the space.

We recently needed a fairly extensive house remodel which included: creating an open plan living space on the ground floor, installing a new kitchen (including a skylight and bi-fold doors), fitting new bathrooms, installing a loft conversion with an en-suite and a new front entrance.

Personally, the most daunting aspect of engaging in a large building project was whether I could trust the builders but after being recommended by a friend to use Kapconversions and speaking to Raman directly I felt reassured by his professionalism, strong relationships with previous customers and catalogue of work.

Going with Raman was the best thing we did and we’re so happy with how it all turned out. The work took ~6 months in total and we had a really good line of communication and would regularly check in on progress or any or issues that arose along the way so that they could be resolved smoothly.
