Withdraw my housing application with no reason or notice whatsoever. I had to ring them before I knew because they did not inform me of anything. They said the reason for withdrawal was because I "didn't fill in a form" of some sort, but I was not sent any form like that whatsoever. And when I emailed them I couldn't fill in the website details due to errors on their part as their website is laid out atrociously, I was ignored completely.
Now I've read the other reviews here I'm very glad I never was accepted for a karbon home, I dodged a bullet for certain

Impossible to get any answers. emails are just ignored and I feel sorry for poor people taking calls and constantly making excuses. Certainly not the first class service we promised when we were Cestria

A concern on behalf of my Aunt was raised 6 weeks ago after she noticed a damp patch on her ceiling. Long story short, scaffolding was erected 3-weeks later but as yet (03/08/23) the leak in the external roof has yet to be repaired at Rosefinch Lodge, Low Fell. Residents are having to take preventative measures after water has been permeating down into their living space. My Aunt has sought outside help in someone accessing her loft space to lay down plastic sheeting to limit the damage after her flat was affected. She has been informed that she is liable at her own expense to repair any damage/redecoration costs incurred within her own residence, and this being a direct result of the external issue of the disrepair on the roof. My Aunt pays £200 maintenance per month but does not have a contract to which she can reference for terms & conditions. This has been requested. I spoke to a representative today (03/08/23) and was informed that roofing contractors have been sought but there is a prioritisation process. When I asked what the contractor's priorities were that were above a building leaking water down into a building housing the elderly the answer was that the residents have been texted so they know the situation and have agreed to containing any problems that are a result of the roof. The interim six weeks between the initial phone call and today (and for the foreseeable future) has seen one of the wettest summers on record and this should have surely resulted in the utmost urgency in addressing the problem with the roof.

Really bad customer service. Appointment service is quite swift upon consultation with housing officer but when ringing to make any appointments is absolutely awful. Spoke to lady called Linda regarding repair, she basically blamed us for damage to poor quality door handles. She was not impressed when clarified information regarding use of cleaning products. Awful, abrupt and rude customer service. Training needed urgently, no people's skills at all.

Karbon homes I don't really know enough about them to comment. Save as to say this if you look up Town End Farm way coming back along the big Orange 56 Bus route you will see the beautiful homes Karbon are building. They are a Housing association that has sensible rents. Meaning cheaper than private landlords. With that better rent a better attitude is warranted. I know they work along the lines of Gentoo. Gentoo Sunderland gets a bad press. Yet Gentoo has its origins here and like Karbon homes they are public facing institutions. They protect their property and serve their public. Karbon seems to have a good name. I've only seen decent things about it. What more can I say? Except for get your name down for a property with Karbon. Jump through hoops if you have to. Thanks for reading.

Terrible service.... Window stuck open in the depth of Winter about 8 inches because the outside windowsill is pointing up instead of down. Told I would have to wait 8 days for this to be fixed. In a time when everyone is struggling with fuel bills and you want me to have a main window open for four 8 days in freezing weather.... What a joke !!! Complaint launched!!!!
