This was the venue, for the second year running, for the Plants & Minds charity Christmas lunch. It's a fantastic event to help reward individuals with mental health issues that prevent them from holding down regular jobs. Therapeutic work in either Cherry Tree or Chestnut nursery is where they can sow and grow a variety of plants, which are then sold to the public to raise the money to fund the charity. They also have an excellent & experienced fundraising manager in Maria Tidy, who organises these events. I'm one of her regular & willing 'charity slaves' - it's a very rewarding way of helping others xx

Glad to see so much going on here on a regular basis. I was visiting family in the area as I now live in Cornwall. My grandparents use to bring me here regular from being weighed in the baby clinic to paddling in the pool which has now been turned into a play park. Mum, myself and my daughter joined in with the jubilee fete and really enjoyed ourselves.

Hired the Main Hall for my daughters 1st birthday party. And WOW! I was blown away with how large the space was. Ample size for bouncy castle, mini soft play area, food tables and chairs with there still being enough room for the kids to run around. The little kitchenette tucked up the back was spacious and clean. With great utilities. I would highly recommend hiring this hall and will 100% use this hall again.
What is more, the gentleman at reception on the day of the party was so helpful and friendly. Made the whole party experience all the better.

Beautiful place. Was there for training. Disable people toilets clean roomy areas. They have facilities like community cafe and various activities which is nice to see. Friendly reception. Big park around the centre for families and pets.
