If you are looking for a care home that specialises in dementia and really treats your loved ones well, this is the care home you should choose. Throughout the Covid pandemic they had one priority and one priority only which is their patients safety. I would give a special mention to the two Sarah’s at Kirkby Care Home. Thank you so much for to you and all your team for treating my mother with dignity and kindness at all times.

My man has been here for 16 months. The cares who work here have actually given my mam a life
She was a totally different woman before, scared. Confused. Little angry and very sad .
Now very happy. Content. Very calm and most of all she feels safe .she loves all the girls and boys who look after her
For me and my family you have given us our mother back.
And our lives back

To everyone from the cares to the chef. Cleaners everyone involved

The family cannot thank the staff enough at mums care home. Mum went from being extremely vulnerable prior to going to Kirkby House, she wasn't eating or drinking properly, mum was neglecting her personal care, and she was getting lost a lot more.
4 months on and mum is doing amazingly well, all her needs are met, she is more proactive with the activities at Kirkby House.
Mum will tell us how much she loves her new home regularly.
For me personally I can go to bed at night knowing mum is safe and well looked after.
Thank you to all the staff for your wonderful work, for making mums transition as perfect as possible, for giving mums family peace of mind by keeping her safe ?
