2 months ago and at 99yrs young mum, finally admitted she 'might need a bit more help' and agreed to 3 weeks respite here. She is now settled on a permanent basis and everyone is amazed at the difference in her. She is much more relaxed, looks and feels healthier, loves the staff and thinks the food is 'brilliant' !
Definitely the right decision.

My Mother-in-law lives here. The staff and management are very caring, friendly and accommodating. The place is very homely and welcoming when you visit your loved ones. Staff keep family informed at all times and freely answer any questions. It's situated in a convenient place and you can park outside which is always helpful.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

The manager rules using fear ,anyone who whistle blows about abuse or neglect wither gets sacked or hounded out.
..Never enough staff , they are always rushed off their feet . No physiotherapist and little in the way of stimulation about from tv's /radio at full blast.
..I myself have repeatedly warned of residents left cold ,once by a drafty door who's seal was letting in cold air as resident ,with a heart condition, was sat there cold. Another instance a 105 yr old lady repeatedly left without a blanket , not even within reach. I told one of her family last week and today was met with "You cannot come in " as apparently the manager implies I 'upset' people. No upset only neglect pointed out to staff also ,

that I am being punished for.
..No evidence ,only a generalisation vague on purpose that will see me officially complain as they banned me from seeing a resident i have known for 40 years. No evidence,non specific deception by management that will force me to take legal action against the manager.
