We had an amazing walk around the Light Show. Well worth a visit. It can be quite tiring towards the end, but keep going for more surprises and changes in mood as you go. Nearly lost a star for the bad and too loud music. Hopefully, that will be changed for something more appropriate for a garden with spectacular lighting and light shows!

Best Christmas attraction my family has ever been to, this was the 4th year going but was very disappointed by the new charges for parking and I feel the greed has taken over at this establishment so will have to see if we go back next year!

Always an absolute pleasure to visit Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens. Beautiful gardens, good cafés in which to refresh your self after a walk around the gardens, a visit to the Wallaby enclosure or the Doll's House Exhibition. Lovely staff as well!

Absolutely appalled by the lack of compassion shown by Leonardslee Gardens. We had booked tickets for the Illuminated event, but on the day, our 4-year-old son fell extremely ill and was rushed to hospital in the early hours of the morning. My husband called to cancel as our son was admitted with a serious condition and is still in hospital over a week later. He has even had to have a feeding tube fitted for the foreseeable future.

Despite calling and emailing to explain the situation, we were essentially told that because we didn’t purchase ticket protection, they would not do *anything* to help us. No empathy, no understanding—just a cold policy response.

The trauma and stress we’ve been through as a family have been unimaginable, and to be met with such indifference is absolutely shocking. If you’re considering booking with Leonardslee Gardens, be prepared to shell out extra for ticket protection because even extreme circumstances won’t move them to do the right thing.

We will be taking this further!

Good challenging walking opportunities. Loads going on at the lake with model boat enthusiasts. Very interesting plant varieties. Chaotic cafe/restaurant at lunchtime. Separate queues for hot and cold food would make it much simpler and more attention to clearing tables.
I nearly forgot the ducks! There's loads and VERY friendly!
