Attended wedding reception in downstairs community room.
Good points 👉 spacious area for plenty tables for guests and children running around. Separate stage area where DJs were and dance floor. Bar staff were friendly.
Bad points 👉 arrived initially on the assumption the room would be ready, as bride/groom had been informed the room will be ready in the morning! Guests had to wait in corridor until room was ready on a very warm day. No seats in corridor to sit down, as I cannot stand for long periods due to fibromyalgia. Woman who came out and spoke to bride (helen) was rude and tried to blame the room not being ready on a misunderstanding of time of arrival.
Room itself apparently didn't have Air Con, but we weren't allowed to open the windows Apparently this would let the heat in?
Plenty of parking space.
Oh we all started wiltering away bcuz they took so long bringing the food out.
All in all, a let down really, I wouldn't have my wedding reception here that's for sure.

Had a wedding party held here with food included was fantastic Helen and the staff where amazing the whole way through thank you again would recommend for any event or party 🎉😉

Lime Tree Park Club is a lovely venue. Well laid out inside. You can hire a room there which has a stage and a lovely speaker system. It is ideal for family get togethers, anniversary celebrations etc.

I was not happy to be informed today that I could not have the room for my son's going away and 19th Birthday party. After being told by the manager via email that the room was available. I also tried telephoning them several times as to when would be the best time to come and pay the bond. I ended up going down there to pay, only to be told that I could not have the room. Firstly because of my sons age (even though I had put it in the title of the original email) and secondly because the rooms were booked (It felt like they were fobbing me off). I feel my time has been wasted and that the customer service was poor.
Not that they care, but I will not be recommending the club, to anyone.
Very disappointed and unhappy person.

Alhough I rated a 4 star, the staff who were responsible for the decorating of the wedding reception room, were very disappointing, the wedding party had arrived at 3:30pm to enjoy the wedding reception and the room was not prepared, no decorations were up, no tables were ready and the DJ wasn't ready either. The bride and groom with all the guest's had to wait around until they got the room ready. The bride and groom were quite upset about this. The buffet was not adequate, there was not enough food for everyone and we all had to wait (being very hungry) for the food to be layed out. This place, I would not recommend for booking your party if you let the staff to do everything. I don't know how others have rated but thistle is definitely not my choice. The Bride and Groom were let down and I hope they were offered a reasonable discount out of a courtesy gesture. I will have to ask the newly wedding couple. After that, we had a good time.

What a lovely club, we went with the lads darts team. It was very clean, bright and roomy and it was a good pint of beer. They seemed to cater for lots of people with a function room for parties. Obviously darts is a big concern as there were several boards in the bar we used. I think there is a bowling club there also. Great place will definitely be going again if we are off when the lads team plays there again.

We attended a wake there, the food was good but it took nearly two hours for it to be served. Even though the tea and coffee was pre-paid they still charged us for it and when we pointed this out They would not re-fund the cost of the tea's and coffees. When we tried to get some more teas and coffees they very reluctant to give us any more. Bar staff Not very good

Held our wedding reception here yesterday.
The staff were amazing. Always nice when staff are bubbly and smiley.
You guys were amazing. Thank you for making our evening very comfortable. I would deffo recommend the hire of this venue
