I have been to many Open Days at Lincolnshire Trust for Cats and have always been impressed with the dedication of everyone involved. The cats are extremely well cared for and their accommodation is scrupulously clean and hygienic. It has always been a pleasure to attend with the parking and catering presenting no problem whatsoever. Everything is well organised and efficient. The food is good, prepared well and served quickly by many dedicated volunteers. It is a rare opportunity to get a glimpse of a truly unique rescue and retirement home for cats run by caring people devoted to feline welfare and to maintaining the highest standards in every aspect for both people and cats alike. Open Day is a lovely enjoyable occasion and well worth attending.

The recent Open Day at Lincolnshire Trust for Cats was a great success, as in previous years. Members of the Trust and their volunteers put in a lot of hard work to accommodate all the visitors and supporters who came. It is always very well organised and there is a lot on offer. I can recommend it as a good day out for all animal lovers, as well as the furry friends who live there. Once again, well done to everyone involved. I hope you raised a lot of funds for the Trust, which will benefit all the cats you help - year in, year out.

I have been coming to the open day for a number of years and have seen the facilities at the Cats trust grow for the benefit of the cats. The dedicated team of staff and volunteers give 110% in their care for the cats. The open day is always a good day out with lots to do for everybody. The refreshments are very good value and the occasional queue is well worth the wait as the range of cakes and sandwiches are only bettered by their taste. Staff and volunteers on the day are always friendly and welcoming with a smile for everyone.

Having attended many of the Open Days held by the Trust I can confirm the statements of the majority of reviewers on this site. Each time I have visited I have always been impressed to hear the depth of knowledge and see the level of care given by all of the staff. Despite the large (and growing) numbers of cats cared for by the Trust, it is clear that each individual kitty receives the love, attention and treatment they need - a true credit to the staff who work tirelessly to ensure that the comfort and care of the cats is always the priority. The premises are always well-presented and clean, and the attendance at every Open Day just goes to show how many people see the value in this charity. I know of many owners who have not only adopted cats from here, but have received the support they have needed to allow the newest member of their family to settle in well. The successful retirement scheme run by the Trust allows any cat who is not suitable to be re-homed to live out their days in comfort - with so many owners confident to leave their cats to the care of the Trust I think it is apparent that the standard of service is worthy of a 5 star review.

I first heard about this wonderful place when they appealed for help many years ago. Now I'm a massive fan of the place ... all the cats have so much space to move around in and are so well taken care of by both the owner, staff and volunteers. It's a really happy place. I attend the open day every September which is a lovely day out ... so many stalls with handmade goodies; the ladies on the refreshment work tirelessly all day serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and homemade cakes and sandwiches. Not forgetting of course, being able to pet the cats all day! The place itself has seen many improvements over the years and there is even a retirement home for the oldies, it's like a hotel! Keep up the good work guys.

After my mum went into a nursing home, Lincolnshire Trust for Cats took in her cat Billy.
Initially we were given the chance to try things out and not leave him there should we think it unsuitable. From day one Billy had excellent care and lived a good and happy life for over 2 years in the retirement section, which is a true home from home. We visited him on a regular basis and found the place a true "gem". The cats are always happy, clean and well cared for, and receive the best veterinary care, often involving considerable expense to the Trust. All the staff are friendly, caring and experienced , the welfare of the cats being paramount at all times. We have recently adopted another cat from them . We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and would have no reservations in leaving any cat in their care or adopting one from them.

Couldn't be happier that my Cat is going to this wonderful home. It is an absolute sanctuary for cats, and he will absolutely love it. The work of Jain and her team is just amazing and gave us the peace of mind we needed when making the difficult decision to re-home our cat because of family circumstances. The facility is well maintained and the cats all look very happy. Thanks again for everything!

We had to ask Lincolnshire cats trust for help in rehoming my elderly mothers ten year old cat. My mum is moving in with us and unfortunately our dog would not get on with Milly and we were concerned with her safety. They told us about their retirement scheme and we decided it would be in the best interests of the cat to take her there. What an amazing place this is! We didn't take the decision lightly because she was much loved and we had hoped she could stay with us. Meeting Jain and her team and seeing the wonderful facilities put our minds at rest. We can even go and visit Milly and receive updates on how she is! Thank you so much for taking on and giving Milly a home where she can live the rest of her days safe and happy!
