My Mother in Law spent the last 4 weeks of her life at Lindisfarne Care Home, Throckley. My Husband (her Son) & I have nothing but good things to report during her stay when her end of life symptoms & needs were extremely well managed & met to ensure she was kept as comfortable & pain free as possible. All staff from the cleaners to the qualified nurses & manager on site were brilliant, friendly, professional, extremely caring, approachable & visible with nothing being a problem to them. They treat my Mother in Law lovely & with the respect she deserved which was a massive comfort for us & the family. My Husband & I were constantly provided up progress updates on her health & well being both when we visited & via telephone updates, which we really appreciated. My Mother in Law's room located on the ground floor was clean, warm, nicely decorated & adequately furnished & the food was good. Although it's a stressful time when your loved ones need to go into a home to receive 24 hour care, my Husband & I have no regrets in choosing Lindisfarne. Hopefully this review will help others faced with this situation in future. A massive thank you to all staff at Lindisfarne, you were all brilliant & do a wonderful job.

My grandad James Alfred Nichol spent his last days in Lindisfarne before he sadly passed away on 15/8/2023?.. I couldn't fault this carehome at all the staff are beautiful and it's a lovely peaceful environment to be in ..Thanks so much to all the care staff who took care of my grandad god bless you all?

My dad William Frizzle was there 3 years, the carers were fab and he could be difficult at times with alzeimers and dementia, but they looked after him so well. Knowing he was well looked after was such a relief to his family.

After looking at a few care homes for my Gran we were disappointed !! Until we came to lindesfarne we’re for 6 months my Gran has been treat with the best care and professionalism I could of asked for from the bottom of my heart I thank each and everyone of the staff xx
