Little LifeSavers - Pulborough

We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming the Little Lifesavers team back to St Mary's last week!

As always, the team of volunteers were outstanding, sharing their knowledge and expertise with the children in an encouraging and supportive manner. The children had the opportunity to practise the key skills in small groups and ask questions, which really helped them to consolidate the information they had learnt.

Our Year 5 and Year 6 children gained a huge amount from the experience and we look forward to welcoming the team again next year. Many thanks to the volunteers that attended on both days.

‘Karen, David and Mary were incredibly clear with all information to the children and children full engaged throughout session. Children learnt an awful lot and listened incredibly well, due to fantastic teaching from Karen, David and Mary. Very polite and broke learning down, so easy to understand for the children. The event went really well, and it was very well planned. It was pitched right and the students were engaged. The layout of the event was good with splitting into smaller groups to practice. We had very large groups which was a challenge, but it still went really successfully thanks to their hard work.
