A little gem at this town. The service, the vibe, the food … great value for money. Even the toilets are nice. Doubt if I would return to this town any time soon. But happy to re-visit even as a stop over.

Disappointed after my visit last night. The restaurant was freezing cold. I asked the waiter could we move closer to the kitchen so we could get warm. The waiter said we could move and that he would put the beating on. It’s the middle of winter should the heating not have been on. Wasn’t surprised the place was empty who wants to sit in a cold restaurant.
Waiter service is pushy. They don’t give you a chance to have a chat after sitting down. Rushing to take your order.
Starter was lovely good portion size but the main was very disappointing. Fish was luke warm and didn’t like the texture don’t think it was cooked properly.
Never complained just wanted to get out of there to get a warm. Won’t go back again

This place is great! I came here in June of 2024 with a friend. I had the Great British Breakfast, it was lovely and had a great portion size. This place has great ambience, a rather nice location, good quality, and good service.

My friend had a minor issue with his order. We did not say anything until one of the owners introduced himself. He asked us for genuine feedback. He handled the issue like a champ and was appreciative that we told him. I think that is a mark of a good business owner. I wish them all the success in the world! Thanks for the service.

Highly recommend this place! The food was incredible - great value, each member of our party had a "work of art". Well done to the chefs! The menu selection was wonderful; you can definitely tell this place is for foodies! All members of staff were extremely accommodating. Thank you. We will try are hardest to go back (not from the area). A really nice treat for a midweek meal out (and would be fantastic for any occasion). Very nice interior. Didn't try the wines but the selection looked great.

First time eating here. Food is excellent, cooked to perfection. Menu isn't especially varied but the vibe seems to be doing a smallish number of things very well rather than offering lots and it just being ok. I had the chicken skewer and braised rice and it was really very good. Decent sized portions, too; you certainly don't leave feeling hungry.

Drink options also very good and plenty of choice in this area, as you'd expect for a place that's also a bar.

All in all its not the cheapest place to go but you can't moan about the price to quality ratio. I've definitely paid more for less in the past, and I'd certainly go back. I'd definitely recommend booking if you're looking to eat here as it's already very popular.

Visited here as a group of 6 after hearing rave reviews of the Sunday roasts. Quite disappointed overall as the portions were on the small side for the price, especially the kids dishes. Me and my wife ordered the ainsdale beef but I it was quite fatty on both plates and for £22 each this is poor. Would not return here and think the Pioneer a couple of doors away is better for both the quality of the food and overall value and service.

I absolutely love coming to the Liverpool Road Social, the layout is open and vibrant, the atmosphere between the bar and the dining area creates a lively but intimate experience. To be able to view the chef working right in front of the tables creates a great conversation piece. At the bar area, the staff as with the dining area are all friendly and confident, this creates a happy party like atmosphere, that filters throughout. Sitting outside is just as intimate and involved in the atmosphere, with a barbecue during great weather, and great music with a DJ being able to both inject and fit right into the whole scheme of the restaurant. It’s my favourite place to visit for an all day and night occasion, that I have enjoyed every time I been. Once you have been, you will want to go back just to be in that incredible layout, as it feels like an exclusive day each time I have been?

Liverpool Road Social, wow!!! it was absolulty delicious and the staff are wonderful, can't do enough for you. Booking is recommended it gets really busy. We went for breakfast and had homemade crumpets, one with bacon broccoli and Harissa the other with Welsh rarebit and Maghull leeks. A full English with a twist and Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit. Kids had chocolate toast accompanied with a chocolate face. All food is homemade there and then using fresh local produce. Can't recommend enough
