My GP recommended the services provided by Live Well Dorset after I had made the decision to stop drinking. I was assigned a Life Coach called Dan who specialises in supporting people trying to cut down or quit drinking. I have to say that the coaching provided by Dan during our sessions has been excellent and really helped me especially during the early period of not drinking. I am now 4 months drink free and it is definitely without doubt one of the best decisions that I have made and Dan has been a big part of my journey so far. I would certainly recommend Live Well Dorset for any person who is looking at making healthier lifestyle choices. Thank you Dan and to everyone at Live Well Dorset.

I cannot recommend this service enough . Unfortunately, l was unable to finish my last session with Sally due to family illness even though Sally consistently kept in touch to offer me alternative sessions . When l was offered this opportunity at my lovely Dr’s surgery for weight management and general wellbeing l took the opportunity . The time is dedicated to give you support and advice and listen to you and gave me a voice in my head to take time for me and work on areas in my life that needed changing . LiveWell Dorset has been a game changer for my family. My mum and her partner have been smokers for many years, and despite trying to quit a good handful of times nothing seemed to work.

Never checked in unless 6+ months passed (was supposed to have calls every 2 weeks) Was recommended for my weight issues and depression but the lack of consistent check ins and effective communication have wasted my time.

Was diagnosed with 2 chronic lung diseases and told by GP that this place will supply me with nicotine patches etc to quit smoking. This place demands that you give them personal details that they have no legal right to have and refuse to help you unless you give them the details. As far as I'm concerned that action flags up as a serious scam warning. There not interest in helping people, there only interested in scamming you for your personal details.

As for the owners reply. The fact that they can find no record of my phone call, just strengthens my belief that I was being scammed.
I was asked for, name, address, date of birth, NI number, nhs number, GP's details, permission to access medical records, permission to share my details with 3rd parties but wouldnt say who the 3rd parties were and had to agree to being phoned every week but wouldnt give a day or time when theyd call, I was just expected to stop whatever I was doing, whether I was driving, sat on the toilet or in a doctors appointment, it made no difference what I was doing at the time I had to answer there call and other peoples reviews say that if you dont answer there call then they stop helping you. When I refused to give them ALL of that information and permissions, they refused to help and hung up on me.

Was great at the start with helping me give up smoking. They set me up with my local chemist and advisor who also telephoned every 2 weeks. Live well started a telephone support but I missed a call and have never heard from them again to this day.. but I'm glad.to say.. I'm 4 months smoke free.
