A few years ago I had to undergo major surgery and I also had tubes inserted into my kidneys and another tube inserted a tube put into the side of the stoma. One of the dressing had to be packed with silver colloid dressing. Once a week I had to have 5 dressing changed. Once a day I had to have my illiostomy dressing done. I waited 3 days and the nurse never called or turned up. On the Monday morning I visited my Gp who was livid when I told him what happened I ended up getting a prescription for the dressing and I changed them with my friends help. The next day a nurse turned up instead of apologising she went onto lie and said she had been twice a day everyday and was getting concerned. I asked why she didn't call then I I asked her the times and dates she supposed to have call around when I said let's watch you on my cctv she went bright red I told her her services were no longer needed because I was sacking her off my case. When I came out of hospital I was told that locala my heart sank but I was estremely surprised. I have an amazing nurse who doesn't talk down to me and sheinurses would be coming once a week. I hit the jackpot be the nurse is amazing very professional excellent rapour I hope she not a one off. I can't thank her for her help enough and I am looking forward seeing her. She could teach the staff at bexley wing ward j91 on what nursing is all about.

Amanda Tyman is without doubt one of the best dental professionals I have ever encountered and I've met a few different ones over the years. The way she put my son at ease from day one was fantastic, she explained everything to him in detail and constantly checked he was OK and listened to everything he said and answered all his questions. He went from being nervous about his treatments to being very confident about them, thanks to Amanda and her team. Highly recommended service and staff, always got through to get an appointment no problem, thank you to all involved.

The telephone operator/receptionist is terrible with an awful attitude. And they are always full of appointments even if you called early. Plus the result of the test, they will never inform you unless you the next time you have been there again and ask a staff.

I have had good and extremely bad service from locala both continence team and District team

It's really bad they even let trainees or lower band staff do the treatment when they don't know what they are doing and the higher band staff don't even check it has been done right and leave patient with really bad issues afterwards like they have done with myself

Its not right the higher staff should check the treatment or procedure has been done right instead of leaving it be and then further problems arise and sometimes they can be serious

Locala service is terrible. The way they treat patients is degrading. My sister requires incontinence services. She's been receiving excellent service up until locala community partnership took over. Now the service we receive requires is to jump through hoops to receive a substandard service. We have to deal with 3 or 4 private companies instead of one. It impossible when you have nowhere to turn to for help.

Very nice place, friendly welcomming staff. They make you feel at ease. They offfer good training for people who really want to progress in the Health Care sector.

Locala are privately run and trying to take over the NHS unfortunately they can't run anything but a routine service n apparently their chief execs get substantial pay rewards whereas the staff who do the work don't - not my words! People believe they're NHS cos it appears in their title.......

Impossible to get hold of anyone at Locala, you just leave your details and they are supposed to ring you back. Frustrating when you miss a call then can't return it without going through the answering machine service.
