Supportive and caring towards staff and clients. They are always finding ways to improve on the services we offer to people and invest in staff to make sure care workers meet care quality standards. Training is thorough and they are very helpful.

If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. After a year of constant stress, poor treatment, and lack of accountability, our family has removed my nan from Lodge Care Group. Based on our experience, I strongly urge others to avoid this provider.

One carer regularly removed items from my grandad’s home—something we directly witnessed. On another occasion, the same carer refused to allow my nan to eat her hot dinner because, after sitting outside for 25 minutes, she said she only had five minutes left to work. This kind of behaviour was not a one-off—it was part of a pattern of disregard for basic care.

My mother made multiple attempts to raise concerns with the manager—calls went unanswered, and messages were ignored. When social services later became involved, Lodge Care Group denied any contact, which in our view was an attempt to cover their lack of response. It appeared nothing had been recorded or followed up.

The most shocking failure came when my nan was left without any care between 8 PM and 1 PM the next day. That’s over 16 hours without support—she was left in soiled clothes and completely neglected. When we challenged this, we were told it was because of a handwritten letter previously delivered (not formally through social services), which said care would be withdrawn if we didn’t accept a carer we had already raised serious concerns about. This left my grandad feeling cornered and fearful my nan would be abandoned.

We raised all of this with social services, who were alarmed and unaware of what had happened—including the existence of the letter.

In my opinion, no one should have to experience what we did. I’m writing this to warn other families: think twice before trusting Lodge Care Group with someone you love. Our experience was nothing short of distressing and at times, dangerous. There are far better, more compassionate providers out there.

The organisation is genuinely committed to the wellbeing of both its service users and staff. Comprehensive training is provided, and there is always someone available to offer guidance when needed. Recruitment scam!Please be aware. They will say job is here. You need to go Through MI Passport and Do DBS.After doing everything and paying £80 for dbs, they will tell you oh, no job here. If we find anything, I will let you know. Please don't do this to poor people who is looking for a job.

Be aware of scams!! They have no work,nothing. They will make you pay £80 for dbs and then round and round. If you ask them for work, they will say we don't have anything right now. If anything comes,I will let you know. I waited 3 months and nothing came from this scam agency. Be aware of scams and don't waste your money here.

Another Scammer. Spent £80 in the name of DBS and after doing mandatory training etc,they are like "Oh,we don't have any job". At the beginning, they will be nice. Then hope after hope. Then We don't have any job,apply from MI passport. Bloody time waster agency.

Please stay far away from this company. They are scams, they collected £80 from me for dbs, make you go through loads of training. But No job coming to you after all this. They are scamming innocent job seekers of £80 each . Stay away from them! Stay away from them!
