Was admitted late June and discharged 2nd week July. Spent a week and a half in a side room on C5 ward. Medical care is superb, but the housekeeping side still has issues. Also seems very spacious and wonder if some of this space could be used more productively. Food not particularly great. Quite a lot of fixes still being done but hopefully completed soon. On site Coffe shop prices high but not unexpected

Excellent facility. A beautiful new NHS building. It's spacious, smart and a pleasure to be in. Lovely atrium and coffee area. Walls are covered in bright murals.

Hospital brand new. Very confusing as there are no wards names but only codes based on levels and blocks. Plus lift has no legenda in it. Still very clean and amazing view of Brighton skyline from the level 6 upward. Needs improvement.

My mum was blue lighted into hospital and all the staff were so lovely! One evening I had some concerns, I called the ward and spoke to the charge nurse. She then went straight to my mum and had a half an hour talk with her, making sure she was okay and listened carefully to her worries.

The day she was discharged the team, looked after us with coffee and biscuits whilst waiting for medication. They were so accommodating knowing my mum is disabled.

BIG shout out to Caraline (HCA or Nurse) from the discharge lounge! Very helpful kept us informed and even wheeled my mum into the car park! Clean, tidy and definitely service with a smile!

Brand new NHS hospital, with visitor parking under the foot of Bristol Gate. The ward I visited had good facilities and some views were stunning. Unfortunately one of the B lifts was already out of order, and the other had been graffitied. The architect did not account for a tall building on a hill facing the sea front experiencing high winds, so the doors from the parking have to be propped open as the air flow would jam them shut. Let's hope the comfy visitor chairs, artwork and murals stand the test of time.

Visited today for a Neurophysiology appt. From parking the car to entering the building, my appointment , the waiting room, everything was 1st class. If only all hospital appts were like this, totally stress free!

New building, it's very easy to get lost unless you know exactly where you're going. Feels a bit bare to be honest.
