This place has a good review and for a good reason, staff are super friendly, coffee is well balanced and tasty and food is great. The portion sizes are huge. Food tasted great, would definitely recommend.

The Oreo and Nutella pancake was a sugar bomb and couldn’t finish it off but I’m not sure what I expected šŸ˜‚ Anyways overall great place to be or if you driving through the town to stop.

Lovely independent cafe, serving breakfast, brunch, light bites etc, very welcoming and helpful staff, busy the whole time we were there and I can see why. The food was so tasty, my meal and all the others I saw, were large portions. Relaxed and contemporary, pet friendly, very clean, including the bathroom. Will definitely be back, thanks to all the staff for a great dining experience.

I've been coming here for a while and usually enjoy the food, but my recent visits have been disappointing. I came on Sunday and ordered the breakfast breaky—it was fresh and hot. However, today was a completely different story.
The same breakfast came on a bun, missing the sausage, and the egg was undercooked—even though I specifically asked for it to be well done. They tried to remake it three times, but the final attempt looked like it was just shoved in the microwave. The yolk from the previous attempt was still visible on the plate, which was off-putting. After the third try, I said no—I didn’t want it anymore, especially considering the price.
I asked for a club sandwich instead. By this point, I had been waiting 45 minutes and still hadn’t eaten. I came around lunchtime and definitely didn’t expect to be here that long.
When I finally received the club sandwich, the chicken was extremely dry—not worth Ā£10.50. I wasn’t asked if I wanted any sauces or sides; the food was just dropped off and the waiter walked away.
Overall, I’m very disappointed. The service was poor and the food quality was inconsistent. Sadly, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Every time I come I'm met with a hello from the staff and seated as quickly as possible. It's not a huge place, so as expected from somewhere in demand due to the quality, you have to wait sometimes for a table. Always worth the wait though!!

If it's super busy, so the fire exit isn't blocked, you may have to wait outside for health and safety reasons, no biggie but come prepared if the weather is questionable.

Great coffee from a local roastery in Bolton and a great menu that isn't overbearing. The chorizo hash is a must have, I get this every time! If you can finish the pancakes... fair play to you! They're awesome but HUGE! Get a doggy bag!

Bring all my friends and family here when they visit and they always love it. A great spot with quality that you'd expect to find in the city and coffee to rival the best independent coffee shops.

First time here and went first thing, around 9am ish. Friendly staff, coffee was nice.
Things I wasn't keen on:
Heavy music and too loud
No biscuit on the side(shame)
Wasn't offered a stamp card, not sure if they do them? But would of been nice if they do.
*Very annoying everyone parking on the double yellows*
I'd like to see Ballard's put up so this wouldn't be an option then šŸ‘

This is a hidden gem, I only knew about this place as a friend recommended it. Get there early as it fills up fast! Also it's dog friendly making it perfect. A very warm welcome on arrival by the staff and they recommend a new dish. I went with the recommendation and boy I was not disappointed at all. We ordered Turkish eggs and the new dish Pesto eggs as well as loose leaf tea and hot chocolate. Food was amazing and very flavorful would highly recommend both. They also had a selection of deserts at the counter, they looked so scrumptious and I can't wait to try them when we go next.

Excellent coffee! My flat white was hot, creamy and the coffee flavours were complex but not bitter (like some ā€˜chain’ coffees can be?)
Shakshuka eggs with beef chilli were fantastic - spicy, rich, savoury, saucy and the sourdough toast was crisp yet soft, perfect for mopping the sauce - a brunch dish to relish every mouthful!
Staff were friendly and welcoming, efficient and made me feel like a regular on my first visit here. Ambiance is good, decor ā€˜industrial chic’ - the perfect place for brunch or lunch, deserves every one of the five stars šŸŒŸā€¦. If I could give six, then I would.
