A very friendly synagogue. It's services are spiritual without ever being needlessly somber. Educationally it really stands out for all ages. The cheddar is great but the adult education is fantastic. There are a wide range of other activities for you to get involved with.
I have always found the emotional support when things go wrong to be very good.
And on a slightly less serious note there's normally a great range of stuff at Kiddush. When I find myself in Manchester it's my synagogue of choice.
As its a progressive synagogue men and women sit together and women play a full and equal role in the service.

I visited this Synagogue in south Manchester for a study day on the Holocaust.
It is a nice well maintained Synagogue with its own secure car park.
It is also very close to the M56 so access to the Synagogue is easy.
I would recommend a visit to the Menorah Synagogue in Wythenshawe in Manchester.

The rabbi was rude and dismissave. Coming all the way from South Africa to come to a place where the people are unfriendly and the rabbi is not interested in what a person has to say. I would recommend going for the beautiful shul only.
