This is a complete joke l had social prescribing with this organisation and they told me to make sacrifices with my mental health through being long-term child abuse in which I have C-PTSD and PTSD and other stuff I don't want to mention. Then they mention about mental health awareness day.

I was sign posted to dead ends and when I complained about it l get a email from the head of social prescribing practically telling me l was wrong for giving my opinion about how l found the social prescribing service. I wasn't wrong for having free speeched opinion about a public service that has increased my stress levels.

However when I had my second social presciber she had a more dedicated and caring attitude to making sure l succeeded with the services she signposted to me. The smartest thing she did was leave for another job.

Just because someone is a head of a public service does not mean they are always right over everyone including patients/clients

Social Prescibers need to phone these services before actually prescribing them to someone so there isn't dead ends otherwise it defeats what social prescribing is about instead of them saying sorry to not make you feel better but themselves. Avoid!
