I went to Mesopotamia today, and I can honestly say that they were the most welcoming, caring, generous and kind people that I’ve come across in a long long time.

After days of struggling to navigate the local authority, health centre organisations, CAB, housing, social services etc etc, I finally got a code to be able to access a food bank.

When I got there, they were so incredibly helpful. They provided me with the essentials and added me to a home delivery list so that I can have food and other essential items delivered instead of cycling with heavy bags.

The staff were none judgemental and genuinely interested in helping people out of the different circumstances that we all sometimes experience.

They’re a charity, with no support from the local authorities. The staff are all volunteers. I was made to feel very welcome and they were so kind and helpful that I just had to come back online to leave feedback.

My faith in the ‘system’ and in the caring nature of people is restored and I recommend that people in need, go ahead and access their support.

Anyone else who may be in a position to help, please donate some support. There’s no salaried staff or politics or red tape. Just like minded people who’ve experienced hardships themselves and understand the need for such a service.

I can’t speak highly enough about them.

If I could I’d leave more than 5 stars. And when I’m in a position to, I’d like to donate time or resources to return the favour.

Arrived to donate a mixture of clothes and bric a brack. Told yes inside then no by a very unfriendly man sitting outside on his phone. Giving to charity should be easy such a shame.

Decent shop with good people also running a food bank, it's sad but I got relocated so won't be able to use them but I wish them and the community all the best.

amazing shop. the volunteers who work there are so kind. although the products may seem a little old, they are amazingly priced and its just a lovely shop. i recommend for others to come here!

Such a great charity shop with goods on bargain of a price. People running the show also very nice and helpful too. All the profit going to a good cause is just icing on the cake. <3
