A lovely park for various activities to keep your mind and body active.
It has a kids playground, basketball courts, adjacent tennis courts (not within the park), fields suitable for cricket, a small pond, paved paths and lots of grass and trees.
It can be cold when it is windy especially in open areas of the park where wind isn't broken by trees.

We attended Party in the Park here.

It's got more worms than I've ever seen in my life. You probably also need your armbands.

In normal conditions, I'm sure it's lovely.

Great place for concerts and gigs. If been raining or wet prior to venue. Walking boots or wellies must be worn as the field can be a mud bath

Park is big. Relatively ok. But children's playground is full of trash... one of filthiest I have ever seen.
Every day, there are tons of trashy people who come and smoke cigarettes, eat food, and make mess around children's playground.

Attended Radio 2 In The Park and had an amazing day. Hope the mud has now settled for the locals to enjoy this lovely park again!

Highly recommended. This is a great neighborhood park! It is a serene environment and it’s easy to locate. Lovely place for a walk, you can sit and appreciate nature. It’s dog friendly so you’ll likely see a few dog owners with their fur babies. There’s a play area for kids unfortunately I didn’t take photos of the play area, there are cafes within the park too so you can grab your coffee on the go.

bbc 2 radio in the Park. Day 1 sunshine. Day 2 rain, rain and more rain. Both days were brilliant. The dj tent was hoping. The Acts on the main stage turned out some of the old and new tunes. High lights for me Snow Patrol, Paul Heaton, Craig Davis and the Pet Shop Boys.

The rosemary on the park cafe.is a lovely Cafe and beautiful food. Dog friendly and helpful and lovely staff. I had a vegetarian bap with veggie sausage and mushrooms with a side of potato wedges.followed with custard and fruit crumble and a pot of tea for two. Go in and try it. It's lovely.
