I would not recommend Moorlands Court Hindhead Gardens Northolt. My dad was a resident here in the beginning things went well however , the decline become evident due to lack of care , facing him against a wall and isolating him in the communal eating area. Carers lying about providing care and heating food to give to dad. Trudy has no compassion for anyone tells lies and is very dismissive. Dad was able to tell me he was not getting the care but did Trudy listen off course not. The care logs were recorded with incorrect information and this was proven in a lengthy following up investigation I took out with the senior care manager Oke.
He confirmed that careers were logging tasks they had not completed. It was a complete nightmare dealing with Moorlands Court and the staff. Oke confirmed in the investigation that he would reimburse dad for the lack of care and I agreed I would not put a negative review. One year later Oke is ignoring my emails and has not sent the refund .
Dad ended up in hospital malnourished and dehydrated and the Dr told me they were not expecting him to recover due to his poor state. Thankfully with the proper care he did recover and was moved away from Moorlands Court.
It is very expensive renting from them if the care was good it would be cost effective but it’s not care is very poor and if they don’t like you they force you out.
It had also been brought to my attention that there was resident deaths at Moorlands Court around the same time my dad was not cared for correctly which i understand to be surrounded around lack of care. Residents were forced out if they were not liked. The staff want an easy life and sit around with their feet up on their phones. When you look after different communities the staff have to be aware of cultural differences but not at Moorlands Court. They lie and sweep things under the table if you raise concerns.
This is my personal experience with them.
Even after dad left and the flat was emptied and the keys handed back they continued charging dad for another 4 months and sent a bill.
