A wonderful place for those who need its services. My close elderly relative was in the last stages of her life and was fortunate to be given a room here. Lovely caring nurses and two Doctors, who I won’t name were just lovely, compassionate and caring. My family cannot thank them enough.

Lovely cafe too which is open to anyone. Go along and enjoy their produce and you'll also be supporting a fantastic charity

Sadly my friend is there. I can't fault the staff they are all angels. Food is good. Nothings too much trouble. They deserve 110% respect for the job they do.

Naively thought I'd be supported in such a needy time lone caring for my mother , unfortunately can't be relied upon , if they answer the 24hr phone your lucky , bed's aren't available and you have to beg for home visits for assessment or support . Very disappointed in these, like me don't assume and believe they will be with you every step of the way , they need to make this clear to people instead of giving empty promises from initial meeting .

I went to visit and had to stay over night with a family member. The staff were amazing. They made sure I had everything I needed and my family member too. The unit itself was emaculate and couldn't fault anything.
They took great care of my family member and put our minds at rest and answered all our questions.

I have a long history with family & friends who have been accommodated at Mountbattens & they are a shining light for end of life care. I have since attended some wonderful money raising events & donate when I can. I have visited a friend there recently & thank you Mountbattens for being there for her & us ? ?

Unfortunately our recent experience of the mountbatten hospice was not a good one. We did not find the atmosphere welcoming to family and loved ones. Some staff members were very caring and supportive but others seemed to look apon visitors as an annoyance and inconvenience. Nightime care was unfortunately less diligence than during the day.
