A very small museum with a few interesting exhibits but not a lot to see here. There are far better museums in Oxford. It’s free though so can’t complain too much. They have some good activities for kids like treasure hunts and a few good interactive exhibits. Staff are friendly and helpful. Takes about 20-30 mins to see everything here.

A very well laid out museum giving a great interesting view of the history of Oxford. From medieval, civil war and Victorian times. Giving a view of old businesses and brewing and sports which have taken place in the city. Video shows telling the stories of the history of Oxford. Well worth a visit which is free to enter but donations are gladly accepted to maintain the museum.

Not so big museum inside the Oxford Town Hall. Exhibits are really good, well-decorated and well-maintained. Free to view the place. A gift shop is included if you would like to get souvenirs for family or friends.

Excellent place to visit to know the history of the city of Oxford through centuries. Great exhibits. The successive maps of city expanding and the history of civil war are interesting. Matthew, the guide, is extremely helpful, enthusiastic and enjoys and takes pride in his job. Worth a visit.
