Great Charity to adopt from, Pat and her team are great at matching dogs to new owners. Great aftercare and are always available to answer any queries. (a little patience needed, the animals are their 1st concern and not the phone🙂) We have now adopted five from here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. The twice yearly fundraisers (May and August) are a great way of seeing how much they care for their rescues and to meet many happy owners and the Mutts themselves.
Pat also has training classes locally, Wednesday evenings, Friday and Saturday morning/afternoon , they are a great way of socialising your new dog and meeting new friends.

Probably one of the best dog rescues I have dealt with. Volunteers are wonderful & do an amazing but sometimes difficult job & the dogs in their care are well looked after. They are helpful & informative about the dog you have chosen & scrupulous with home checks etc which is brilliant. My dog Dylan had to have treatment so could not collect for a week but was allowed to visit & walk him during that time. Still go there now to visit with Dylan just to say hi.

Wonderful people saving, healing, and homing dogs. One of my rescue dogs came from here and I can't recommend them highly enough. I would give them 20 stars out of 5.

Cannot praise Pat and her team highly enough. With a couple of 1:1 training sessions and 2 group training, where I've learned too, Aussie is a different dog. From a reactive nightmare when out, he's a reformed dog. Thank you Pat, you're one in a million.

Really Disappointed in this rescue. Sent the application, evenly got a home check and the home check went well. Then tried calling at least 10 times and sent emails, I still haven’t had a response. Really not happy with them, these poor dogs want/need homes but they don’t seem to act on it. The poor home checker did a 5 hr round trip to assess my home all for nothing. I've gone elsewhere. Really disappointed in this so called rescue centre

I rescued my late dog from here 10 years ago. The sweetest little dog ever. I have returned recently to donate all the dog food I had. Pat and the team are lovely.
