Great morning at The Olive Tree. Always welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious...lots of options available. Do usually check out the pastries too but trying to behave!

Small market town in the cotswolds. Eclectic mix of shops, some practical some more flamboyant. Lots of quaint older buildings. Lively monthly market, thriving community with a cultural festival every year. We have just moved here and we love it. Great for a day visit, especially if you come during Market day, but there is plenty of shops to potter about on any day. Some high end restaurants and some more typical restaurants and eateries. A great place to stay and visit the wider cotswolds too.

A busy little rural town centre. There are a lot of local shops offering a wide and varied range of goods and services, but sadly like many similar rural towns it is just about impossible to get the full benefit of it due to the almost non existant provision of adequate, affordable, decently sized car parking spaces, Having done three circuits on my last visit and still not having found an empty space its not hard to see why many just 'give up'

A number of trendy restaurants and shops can be found in odd corners of Nailsworth Town Centre, including Williams Fish Restaurant, the quirky Canteen, The Egypt Mill pub, and Hobbs House Bakery as examples.

Be prepared to pay high prices for the food.

Although small and not quite on par with places such as Bourton and Broadway, it does deliver a feeling of charm and odd corners of the town will surprise you with nice views of olde world buildings.

Of course I like it. I grew up there. A wonderful friendly town with many unusual shops selling unusual items alongside few of the regular retailers that are to be found in almost any town in the country.
