What is CASA? When you call you can't get to a real human being. When you leave a message they don't call back. When you email their membership services they don't respond. I'm a Court Appointed Special Advocate, a CASA!!! We are dealing with the welfare of CHILDREN.
Meanwhile, the (DOJ) CEO makes nearly $500k a year, I cannot get assigned just one single child, and I was taken off my last case after Dept of Child Services was neglecting/abusing the child. This is a challenging situation and mismanagement of funds.? As a former foster child who benefited from the program and had a connection with my CASA volunteer, my heart breaks for these children. ?
