A truly awful organisation that has become a mouthpiece for anti-cycling hatred on social media.

Their Twitter account is an endless tirade of posts about e-scooters and cyclists while they simultaneously fail to address other pressing issues. For example, pavement parking, blocking footways, overhanging vegetation from private gardens, uneven surfaces, speeding and dangerous driving. These are issues that routinely get ignored but affect everyone, especially those that have mobility issues or are blind or partiIy sighted.

I wrote a polite email to NFBUK in 2022 offering my support, but highlighting the potential negative effects of their social media use. They never responded. Today their content has become even more hysterical, polarising and agressive.

Interestingly, there are many disabled and blind people that rely on their bikes, trikes and modified cycles as mobility aids. Of course, they never mention this as it doesn't fit with their toxic agenda.

If you wish to support a legitimate charity, please consider the wonderful RNIB and give NFBUK a wide berth.
