Lovely gem of a place to visit. Learnt so much from the guide who was clearly passionate about the history of the place. We spent about an hour and half here. The place is left as Lawrence of Arabia left it before he set off on his fateful journey on his motorbike where he was killed crashing into a tree...he wore no crash helmet :-/ since then, it was made compulsory to wear one. Beautiful little cottage, but with a busy road next to it. Car parking was free and just a short 2 min walk away. We visited in the rain but it didn't spoil the enjoyment. Not really a place for young children to visit.

Not a large, old stately home but a National Trust property well worth the visit. We had to book on online and were in a party of 6 .
We were greeted by a very friendly lady on reception and shown around the house by three enthusiastic, knowledgeable volunteers.
The tank museum is just down the road as is the tree where T E Lawrence met his demise.
We found it very interesting.
His grave is opposite the church at Moreton in the cemetery - it took us a while to find it.

An awesome little cottage hidden away off the main road with a very popular owner. The national trust staff are very friendly and gave a guided tour of the history of the house and it's interior.

Gorgeous little cottage brimming full of Lawrence memories and artefacts. The guides are knowledgeable and entertaining. After visiting the cottage you should head to Moreton church yard and visit his grave.

This was the 3rd time I have visited Clouds Hill over the last 10 years or so. Each time has been quite different. The staff here are very nice and full of information about the Property and it's most famous occupant. It's a shame that the gramophone is no longer functioning as on a previous visit I was given the magical experience of a demonstration. The quiet MP3 replacement just doesn't evoke the same response. Well worth a visit or 3. I would recommend booking a time slot, as it is pretty much expected.

Definitely recommend visiting Clouds Hill so full of history, the home of T. E. Lawrence. Well known as Lawrence of Arabia. The house is very small which makes sense when you find out that he was only 5ft 5ins tall . There are many photos inside and the house is how he left it on the sad day of his accident in 1935.
