Great location to enjoy walks in the countryside through Heathlands and woods. There are many trails and much to explore with some beautiful views. It's very tranquil as you get further away from the car park.
There are trails for walking and dogs are welcome. On a lead in some areas due to livestock.
There are bike trails and bridleways too.
Whilst they are some quite hilly parts they can be avoided.
There are two car parks. The main one is quite large and has a food truck ( not National Trust )
Entry is free to all but there is a charge to park if you are not an NT member.
There are no toilet facilities on site
Definitely a place you could visit numerous times and take a different route each time.

National Trust's Headley Heath offers a pleasant natural retreat with its mix of open heathland, woodland, and chalk downland. The area is rich in wildlife, including Belted Galloway cattle that graze the heath. Visitors can enjoy various walking trails, such as the Lizard Trail, which takes about an hour to complete. The heath also holds historical significance, having served as a training ground during World War II.

However, facilities are limited. While there is a catering van in the main car park offering snacks and beverages, there are no permanent visitor centers or restrooms. Parking is available but comes with a fee for non-National Trust members. The terrain can be challenging in wet conditions, so appropriate footwear is recommended.

In summary, Headley Heath is a worthwhile visit for nature enthusiasts and history buffs, but be prepared for minimal amenities and plan accordingly.

It's a fascinating location for walking and enjoying sceneries. You can find lots of seats here and there. There are lots of routes but you can find enough signs to find your way but it's ok. Some part can be muddy if it's raining. In some areas you might see some cattles. Pets and children will enjoy this place. This place has two car parks which I noticed. You can buy food and hot drink from a van there. Also, I've noticed three portable toilets there. All in all, its a nice place for walking and enjoying your day.

Very beautiful and peaceful walks. There are not too many people, as in the Boxhill area and no road noise at all. Just chirping birds and lots of hares hoping around. Some hills are very steep, and good walking shoes are recommended. There are lots of benches around the areas to enjoy breathtaking views and have a picnic.

Absolutely fenomenal. Car park was full, since it's weekend and weather suddenly improved a lot, but it was worth waiting a little while. Near car park rather busy with people, but further away you go, more quiet it gets and it's a beautiful forest, fantastic hills with great views. And be prepared for steep climbing - these are not a mountains, but pretty steep hills, so great if you look for a place to burn some calories...
