I enjoyed the walk- lots of pine trees and birch trees, however, it looked like too many trees were cut recently and the woods looked quite messy with branches strewn all over the place.
Lots of trails, not too crowded. Can't wait to come back in spring!

Lovely National Park, very peaceful and other walkers were polite and friendly. It had recently rained, so the pathways were muddy, which added to the enjoyment of the experience. The only disappointing feature was the unnecessary cutting down of some of the healthy trees for monetary reasons 😞

Beautiful place, nice and quiet. Perfect to take your doggo for a walk! Free car park, plenty of different trails. This time of year though, make sure to wear the right shoes! It's a bit muddy.

Lovely walks in woods, grassy areas and open vistas of the Weald of Surrey.
Varied habitat for lots of wildlife. Buzzards, chiffchaff, whitethroat and butterflies to name a few. Convenient parking in a variety of spots.

Perfect for woodland walks. Although popular with joggers and dog-walkers, the numerous earthen paths and relatively open woods mean that it stays quiet and feels magical.

Recently, enterprising forest managers have created several Beatrix Potter-themed log houses from pieces of felled timber, which make a walk with children into a treasure hunt through the trees.

Highly recommended for an hour or two of romping through the woods!

They decide to demolish trees and that's it. Now look horrible.

Beautiful area with lots of stunning secluded walks. Maps in the car parks were useful and free parking was great. Sign posting on the walk could use a bit of work but sometimes the best walks are the ones where you end up somewhere you never intended but still enjoy.

Used to be lovely with all the animal houses but they've been removed and a lot of the natural deer tracks have now been fenced in by the National Trust. Such a shame because it's been a wonderful place to visit or for a short dog walk for many years. Still beautiful woods but it's been spoilt if you want a special place for children to visit.
