This is where the Magna Carta was signed in 1215, and currently contains a few modern memorials, walking paths, and a cafe. It has some good information, but feel a little more history around the text of the document, how it came to be and what happened afterword would've been useful. There were a couple of signs, but given its significance could've gone a little deeper.

Facilities: The site is dog friendly, including the cafe. Toilets at the cafe are adequate.

Cost: Free to enter, though there is a cost for parking if not a National Trust member.

Runnymede near Windsor and by the side of the River Thames was the site where King John signed the Magna Carta.this is an outside location cation with information boards but you can also scan a QR code and listen to various recordings along the way. There are art work installations and also a memorial to President J.F. Kennedy.
Entry is free for all and parking is free for National Trust members, just scan your membership card for a ticket.
There is a National Trust tea room near the car park.
Most of the area is suitable for wheelchair users but not the JFK memorial.
You can also enjoy walks along the Thames path and there are boat trips that run just next to the car park, these are chargeable.
There are toilets on site.
Beware of the road that runs past, it's busy and quite fast moving.

Lovely green space on the banks of the River Thames. Went on a 2-hour boat trip, including a cream tea. Lovely informative trip with lots of history from the crew.

It's well signed and with walks to meet all age groups.

Nice place for a family day out. Their parking is £1.50 per hour. 45 mins boat trip was worth it . There is a cafe and toilet.

Excellent place for adults and children to visit. Kennedy memorial was quite a climb but worth it. The Jurors and the wicker village on the meadow a lovely walk along the river. Then on to the children's play area and the statue of the Queen with loads of historical information around it. Both Tea rooms are excellent , National Trust tea room at the meadow and another tea roo/coffee shop at the play area. Lots of parking places. Take a picnic and you can fill whole day. We had a great day there.
