My school was the first school in 2023 and I can assure you it was the best experience I have ever had.The staff is very welcoming and kind if you ever get the opportunity to go trust me go it was the most fun thing I’ve ever done! With V.P.R.S school and we all changed in our different ways from it and we all miss them and all the animals very much. xx And their food is absolutely brilliant!

What an incredible place. We rented the house for a big family holiday and got much more than we expected. All the staff we met were amazingly friendly and helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. The grounds are huge and the kids spent hours playing in the garden and watching the animals. The house has 3 big rooms downstairs plus all the bedrooms and the classroom so there was always place to be whatever you wanted. The kids loved the games room and the adults loved the quiet room. The dining room was big enough that we could all sit together for meals rather than being on separate tables. It was perfect for our needs and everyone loved it. Thank you!!

My daughter spent a week there. She enjoyed it. People were really nice and she liked that she could feed animals. Great food!!! Vegetarian stew was delicious.
Only let down is that the children could not shower everyday. In a farm, you would expect them to be able to scrub off all that dirt before slipping into bed.

I went to Nethercott House every year as a helper for 17 years. Every school child we took had a wonderful time there. Fantastic memories. Would love to return. Bev Kelly. One of the famous five from Sir Theodore Pritchett school. 😊

Have stayed at Nethercott Farm 14 times as an adult, taking groups of 9-10yr old inner city schoolchildren. My own children (now adults) went there in their school days in the 1980's, as has my eldest grandson a couple of years ago too.

Over the years I've witnessed time & AGAIN, many children who arrive there, (often their first time away from their family home independently), with absolutely no idea of farming or how the food they eat gets to their plates. All of the staff there, both past and present are amazingly, kind, friendly and extremely safety conscious of the children in their unfamiliar surroundings. When the children leave at the end of their working week, they're all usually wiser, more thoughtful and caring of their environment, emotionally stronger, more self-confident and full of unforgettable memories from their stay.

To me, Farms for City Children is the Morpurgo Family's greatest blessing to inner city children. A passion, commitment and labour of love that Sir Michael and Lady Clare have been justly recognised for.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Natural eco homemade food was really delisious.
