I have never been here but I am one of those thousands of platelet donors who donate because of their own personal reasons and always happy to do so.My last donation was a triple and took 75 minutes of my time on a Saturday morning and I felt pleased to be able to help.There is a countdown and when I saw I had only four mintues remaining I felt proud.A few days later I received an email telling me where my donation had been sent after being checked at Bristol Blood UK. Obviously that is confidential but it is a nice way of saying thank you,just to know where the golden nectar is sent to.Thanks blood UK.

There is no public access to this building. It is the home of NHS Blood and Transplant organ donation team call centre in the west

Only way to access location by vehicle is at the end of Fox Den Road. Directions via Google take you to a dead end on the opposite side of the ring road.
