My Mum is 92 years and has had 3 recent stays through A&E, OPAU, Loddon and Heydon Wards, and our comment is generally you have all been excellent. All the staff, Drs, Consultants have been really good and so thorough , doing many tests to treat Mum and having time to explain everything to us. All the ward nurses and staff have been so helpful, supportive and caring and I can’t thank them enough. The food and the Serco staff have been very good. Thank you N&N. The only negative comment is you need more wheelchairs around the hospital for patients and visitors (trying to find a wheelchair to use for my Dad has been virtually impossible).

Well ,yet again I’m here 12 years after my first heart attack. From the admission with the ambulance crew finally through to the Coronary care unit. Everybody I came across treated me with utmost professionalism , care and respect from the porters all the way up to the surgeons.Even the catering rounds were spot on on their friendliness and the best tasting shepherds pie I’ve had for a long time. I’ve had great interaction with everybody as they’ve all done they’re jobs well but if you happen to come across Ryan ,a Nurse in Coronary care , his care was outstanding ,he just didn’t stop and constantly updating me to the events and what was going to happen. The only negative in admissions was a porter who was moving a women to a ward on a bed didn’t pick up the women’s belongings and said it wasn’t his job to put her bag on the bed ,it was someone else’s.That guy was the weakest link.
Finally if my Surgery had referred me to hospital for an ultrasound of the heart 18 months ago as they said they were going to do even after I chased them up again 3 months later I probably wouldn’t have been in the this situation that I’m in now and the NHS would have saved money for this visit and consecutive visits.

Despite my father dying in ITU/HDU on the 11th of March, I couldn't fault the care at any point. I'd like to thank the team in the Emergency Department for giving me the opportunity to say goodbye to my dad, they must have exceptional skill to have brought him back despite all his health problems.
The team that I met all seamed to genuinely care about my father's comfort and my understanding of the situation. Even the hard conversations with the consultant were conducted in a caring and understanding manor. Special thanks to Emily the Nurse looking after us on my dad's final day.

Today me and my partner had to go to A&E due to his physical health…. (Very long story) and there is this one nurse called Jo with a glittery blue name tag with a star and she has honestly been the most caring and sweetest person known to man. The care she has given is immaculate. She’s made sure he is comfy and had meds and food. I hope she knows how kind she is 🙂

Today (Thursday 15th May) I attended NNUH Breast Clinic and I can only applaud the wonderful team that dealt with my case from reception to the medical staff. Thank you so much for helping a nervous patient feel so relaxed which eased my worries. Thank you Reg, Izzie, Caren and the consultant (forgive me for forgetting your name) but definitely not how lovely you were. I had a good outcome after going in feeling very apprehensive. Thank you again, all a credit to the NHS.

I attended this hospital as an emergency patient with chest pain.
I was seen within minutes of arriving and to cut a long story short my life was saved by the staff in the emergency department.

I was then transferred to coronary care where the staff were again marvellous.

I consider myself very lucky to have been taken ill near this hospital as in many other areas I would not be here to write this review.

I am sure that some patients had to wait slightly longer than normal while the staff saved my life however I am also sure that if their life was in danger they would also be helped in a very efficient and professional manner.

My thanks to all the staff who assisted me particularly Chi.

Mainly only 1 star as none of the staff seem to be trained in correct manual handling procedures-- pulling people up the beds on their sheet,no slide sheet. Asked a carer and he told me they don't need slide sheets.
Food awful
Staff don't seem to look at the whole person, just put food on table and walk away.
My relative at care home has his skin treated 4 times a day.on his MAR chart that was sent in with him-- took 5 days to get and me asking countless times.

I was recently admitted to AMU K ward at the N and N Hospital.
The care that I received was very good. The staff were very professional and extremely kind and caring.
After 24 hours I was transferred to Guist Ward for two more nights. The care that I received was exemplary. I was so impressed with the care and kindness that I received from every member of the staff. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and the staff were all pleasant and professional.
I am so very grateful for the care that I received and remain impressed at the high standards at our hospital.
My sincere thanks to all.

Carole Anderson.
