Had my Covid Vaccination here today, it's common for people to get lost in searching the vaccination site, please go through the Entrance 'C' right after the Community Hospital NE-Bound bus stop on bowthrope road (exact co-ordinates: 52.634293,1.261731)
Don't go to entrance A or B.
There is ample parking space and wheelchair accessible, one can notice the vaccination centre directions and there are security and staff outside the site for guidance.
The centre was clean, waiting area was being sanitized after each person leaving and the staff there were kind, friendly and humble towards all the people, right from the entrance until the exit had a pleasant experience. There are drinking water and Toilets available inside the site.

A mixed experience here. Came here for a blood test, and the two ladies doing the tests (one with short blond hair, the other was also blonde with blue eye shadow) were lovely, really professional and engaged in friendly conversation, remembering us from our bloods 6 months ago and I would give them 5 stars. However the reception was our issue, the receptionist we dealt with was very quick, harsh, and rude to tell us that we are wrong and they are right for a very easy to make and simple mistake. We went to register our blue badge as per the signs with a photo of the blue badge, having misread that it says take in the "photo portion". Would have been much more professional to just say "oh sorry, it actually says this, would you mind going to get the blue badge" but instead we were met with hostility and accusations. On top of this she unnecessarily asked about my medical conditions even though I had presented blood test forms, there is no reason the receptionist needs to know about this if I am only coming for blood tests with the correct forms. Manners don't cost anything.

29.09.2022 Came for a covid booster and flu vaccination. Easy to park - no need to pay as meters have been taken away.
Main reception is accessible.
Flu vaccination waiting room is the green room.

Brief outline of myself. 69 years of age & terminally ill with Emphysema & COPD.
Use Ventilator and oxygen as & when it's needed.
With a multitude of pills & inhalers to keep me going.
Support was given by NCH & C

Up until last week the care provided by the Matron was exceptional.
However, last Wednesday I received a phone call to inform me that I would no longer be receiving the care and support that had been sustaining me through my illness.
No reasons, no alternatives apart from being told to use my GP. Who, I might add, have told me direct that they are not specialists & their idea of help was for me to call 999.
Apparently my area does not have a back up plan for when Matrons are not available. (Other areas do).
I can't believe that I have been left on my own to deal with the forthcoming end of my life.
Where is the justification?
The people in charge must be heartless. Shame on them

Wheelchair services Re-enablement,
made my late sisters life miserable in the last four years. Two expensive chairs, adapted to her needs allegedly, whatever they did made her life harder, seemed to have no idea re how her various issues were effected by her posture in her chair. It breaks my heart, your processes need looking at, your review of existing clients need looking at. Not all cases are the same.
Some cases are much more complex. But surely a seat in a brand new wheelchair should not give you pressure sores on your bottom after only a few weeks of use, I would of thought that was a basic.
Please do not answer this post just do better.

I am absolutely blown away by the standard of care in this hospital. I was referred to podiatry for Ingrown Toenail surgery which I had done a few weeks ago. Every member of staff I have come across has gone above and beyond and made me feel comfortable, safe, heard and looked after. The level of care and “customer service” has been outstanding. The car park was fine, no issues at all. It was great to be welcomed at the door to guide you where to go. Highly recommend the podiatry team!!!

Most awful hospital I've ever been too. One of the staff was rude to me. The others useless. My mother asked for some medication which she didn't receive. We also asked for a drink which at first we didn't receive till about an hour and a half later. We felt ruff. My mother didn't have a pillow the bed was hard as rock. I thought u where meant to go hospital to feel better but my mother ended up feeling worse. Also its stupid that family members don't get nothing but a hard rock chair.
