This is a great recreation park, vast and has lots to do for any ages. The park has two areas, one big green space to play football, to have a picnic or just to enjoy with friends and family. And an area with swings for younger children, bike ramps and a smaller green space. They have also enclosed a basketball court as well as tennis courts. You can also enjoy a lovely walk down the woods just follow the pathway.

Nice play area, reasonably well maintained.

Basketball/football area on hard ground within a cage, which is good. Just need the nets checking more often as they are half off.

Well kept car park, could do with being slightly bigger considering the size of the rec and the amount of different football groups at peak times.

The groundsman is always painting the lines for the football pitches.

It's a shame the pavilion is still closed; otherwise, it would be great to spend a day there and have all facilities on hand.

Not great finding little baggies lying around the place, but unfortunately, this seems to be more and more common everywhere.

My daughter always loves this park. They have a gym area for adults they can use for free. We are happy with this area all the time.

Only used the play park here with the kids. The play park is really good with a good mix of equipment for all ages, my kids both loved it and they are 3.5 and 10. The only real negative I could bring up, and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5, is that there is not enough parking. We’re not local so we were stopping in on the pay home from Romsey and there was a football match happening on the recreation ground which meant the small car park and access road leading to it were completely full of cars. We ended up parking near Chilworth golf club and walking back.

Lovely little park, nice that the equipment for uoubder children is fenced off. More parking would be ideal but otherwise great!

They have a combined, rare, baby + adult swing in the small park, so that's already great! There are unusual pieces of play equipment, which makes for an interesting visit each time.

There's overflow parking and plenty of it. Events hosted there are often really nice, as there's so many different areas.

Great gates park for smaller kids. And a larger one for bigger kids. Take welly boots in winter, it can get very muddy!

Really lovely park, great for all ages. Basketball court, skate park and lots of open space for ball games and picnics.
