Drove there on Sunday for their winter Brass Monkey fly-in. First time visit and I was very impressed. Plenty of parking and toilets. The cafe was moved into part of the hangar to enable social distancing. Was granted a guided tour of the hangar and parked aircraft on request. Very friendly airfield. Will be back again for sure.

Really friendly and welcoming club. Has a small museum on site and a lot of history!
Enjoyed a drink and lunch whilst chatting with the locals. Landing fee, food and drink was all cheap and enjoyable. Will be visiting again and recommend stopping in!

Fantastic welcome to this unique and idyllic little grass airstrip on the coast. A fine collection of stunning light aircraft in the hangar, a wonderful chat with the gentleman who met us who gave us a great tour of the hangar, and held court with stories for almost every aircraft in there! A wonderful place I can't wait to visit again! And homemade jam on sale in the cafe too. A delight to have it in my logbook.

Visited for the Spring Fly-in. Great access to this historic site. The reconditioned Bloodhound missile is a must see - particularly since this system was based there until 1992.

Brilliant views despite flat surrounding countryside, friendly historic WWII airfield, accepts all types of aircraft including Microlights. The canteen ladies are the friendliest by far. Runway is grass takes twins and larger singles too
