My gran has been at North Ferriby for 5 years or so now. She was very independent but when we found she was no longer able to live on her own, North Ferriby was our first choice. The staff are great and she always talks about how lovely they are. I just wanted to say thank you to them all for their hard work but particularly how they’ve supported both the residents and their families at this challenging time. They’ve found ways for people to still speak and visit residents but in a way that prioritises the health and safety of all those staying in the home. We couldn’t wish for a better, more caring place for Gran to be staying.

My beautiful Nana spent her last days in this lovely nursing home. She was treated like a queen. They staff are amazing. They really care and that shows through in everything that goes on day to day at this home.

My Nana never got to spend time downstairs but she would have loved it.

If you're considering a place for a family member, this is the place! It's certainly where I would want to be.

Its not all glitz and glamour, it's a home and it feels like home.

Was very happy until covid lockdown commenced. Since the government restrictions were altered and garden/outdoor visits following PPE were encouraged for all the obvious health benefits after 5 months of being locked indoors, Ferriby is still prevaricating providing any outdoor access for relative visits despite having over 2 acres of peaceful gardens on site and a concrete terrace. 3 out of 3 of nearby local care homes have all provided both garden and patio visits weeks ago. Autumn and flu season are just weeks away and we all know that restrictions will be imposed again, loved ones are being deprived and some deteriorating. Disgusted.

I want to write a thank to all the staff at North Ferriby Nursing Home for looking after my Grandma so well and especially for keeping her safe and happy through these hard covid times.
They have arrange the visiting for me and it is very well thought out and keeps everyone reassured.

I feel the home is wonderful, the staff are caring and compassionate. The way they treat the residents is with upmost respect and dignity.
All aspects of care are thought of even down to the smallest of details, their approach to the residents is holistic and autonomous. 10 out of 10. Just marvellous

This lovely, friendly nursing home really helped my Mum both during respite care and as a regular day care client. The staff are always obliging, helpful and caring. I really recommend this home to all prospective clients
