Had made arrangements on Tuesday 19/11/24 showed pictures of furniture belonging to my deceased brother and they were all excepted by the on duty manager (yes bring it all in on Thursday 21/11/24 we’ll gladly take all as a donation)
Arrived Thursday 21/11/24 . Different manager, who said sorry but I don’t have room now for your furniture, so she excepted 50% of what had been agreed.
My question is , why? Waste my time and expense for transport to bring in excepted goods
And then to be turned away on 21/11/24 at 3pm ?. Manager was very rude to my situation about my brother’s death and just dismissed the situation.
Really think that this amazing organisation needs better people to run it who have the right skills.
Sorry but needs to be said.
I will still support.

Very large charity shop and a place that sells furniture too. Staff are lovely and the place isn’t crowded due to the size.
