As a young carers who does not get much free time all the staff work so hard to make sure you are happy and they do stuff everyone likes which I think is amazing the staff are so nice and caring they will do anything to help I find that so nice I hate how they are not national funded and they are not talked about enough for what they do

As much as they act like they're trying to help they just make things worse. I'd advise any fellow carer to avoid involving this organisation in your life as they'll only waste your time and cause you even more stress.

*was desperate so gave them a another chance and just as useless as before. It makes me sick to think such a pointless organisation gets lottery funding to do nothing for people such as my self in desperate need of support caring for a loved one with dementia.

this is an excellent service both in terms of the Alzeimer's group sessions and the ongoing care line. Every touch point I have had with this organisation has been exceptional. Keep up the good work.

Started off my experience positively, I needed emotional support in my caring role, and a carer's assessment completing, but this was greatly sidetracked by a lottery funded work scheme conducted by staff, which meant my carer's assessment and the emotional support I so much need got forgotten about, and filling forms etc. for this project took over. My carer's assessment was forgotten about for 6 months, and I now have to wait for I don't know how long on the waiting list, when I though I already was on it. It seems even Northant's Carers are more interested in pushing work to unpaid carers who struggle enough. I feel like I've been used to get funding for a project they are pushing.

Valuable resource to support people in unpaid caring roles offering various free services including group support, drop ins, free or subsidised outings, telephone counselling, assessment of need, sitting service and more. A well run organisation with caring and skilful staff. Very helpful to me and many others who need help and support in their caring role.
