What an absolute nightmare 😳 booked in 1 20pm , had obs with HCA and told to sit in waiting area . Flabbergasted by the wait time 4 10pm , I was eventually seen by the doctor , during this time the hospital was very warm and I was quite thirsty , I ask the reception if I could have a cup of water 💧 they said 'cost too much to provide water tanks so they have been taken out and the only place to get water from was the cafe at my own cost ?,, confused me thought they had to provide water to patients at anytime , for free 🤔, lucky I had a couple of pounds to get one , otherwise I would be dehydrated . Shocking day at the NHS hospital 🏥

I spent over 20 hours in A&E with my son, who was later diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and who was left stood up as he was unable to sit with the pain and there were no beds available. It was like being in a third-world country. He was sent home twice after being administered morphine and had to be returned by ambulance when it effectiveness had worn off.. Appointments that were supposed to have been made hadn't been, but questioning if they had resulted in an unacceptable and unprofessional response from a member of staff.
How any member of the management team could possibly walk past that department and consider it to be acceptable is beyond me.

Horrendous experience. Can't park, lifts not working, cars parked on double yellow lines and building work everywhere. This hospital is not fit for purpose and needs knocking down and rebuilding!
