Thought library's were a place where you could go to concentrate and be peaceful. Would not come here again. Babies banging on instruments, crying . Toddlers running about over the entire library. One woman talking incredibly loud in amongst many others chatting away. Library's should not be used as a creche.

I wish libraries were quiet, like how they used to be. I understand that this library has social events and meetings which are clearly displayed, so one would expect the noise. However the staff should be considerate and try to follow these rules, especially when the library is not as busy to try and maintain silence so others can concentrate. I can always overhear staff at the other end of the room talking about their lives!

I've been coming here for 3 years + now. Staff are always very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The wriggly readers sessions are brilliant and they have a great range of books too.

I am disgusted that the librarians would turn a 3 month old away for wriggly readers. I explained my situation that my husband dropped me off and it was pouring with rain but they still said first come first serve.
They had sectioned off the area and had a librarian on patrol of that area. The team working there was not friendly at all !
I called a day earlier and was told I could just walk in I travelled 30 mins to get to the library and to be told ' we have full capacity ' and turn a baby away is inhumane.
