My dear 88 year old elderly mother recently completed a five week Respite Stay at Oak Lodge. I cannot speak highly enough of the love, care, patience and personal attention which she received during her stay. Oak Lodge itself is a home of the highest quality, very well kept, set in beautiful surroundings, offering a quality of care and kindness which is embedded in all staff, at all levels, from the top down. My mother, with early stage dementia, and not entirely appreciating the full extent of help which she needs, is not the easiest character to manage and work around. Everyone at Oak Lodge settled her in beautifully, and she had a wonderful time - she could not have been treated with greater care and consideration. All of the management and staff are friendly, helpful and straightforward - the administration is first class. I would highly recommend Oak Lodge to anyone seeking top quality care for a loved one in a beautiful, countryside setting with excellent modern facilities.

We were really glad we found Oak Lodge for my mother after all the worrying things we had heard about the state of some Care homes. I'm really happy to say that we have been extremely pleased with the care shown by the staff at Oak Lodge and the lovely bright and cheery atmosphere. My mother, whose deaf and suffering from dementia, always says that she's happy there which is a great weight off our minds, too.
Like others, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Oak Lodge to anyone.

During the 4 years our aunt has been with Oak Lodge she has received exceptional care.
The staff are all friendly and happy and are willing to do anything asked of them.
We have always been kept fully informed of any changes in our aunt's condition
Oak Lodge itself is always immaculately clean and bright with changes to displays throughout the seasons.
There are plenty of activities for the residents if they choose to participate.

Every since person I have met at Oak Lodge have been a great mix of caring, friendly and professional. Within the first few days everyone seemed to know who we were and everything about mum.
