Heya, love this place. Never thought you can find a such place full of old fireplaces, tables, lampposts. I have ordered a table top for my office, and it been done in 4 days from old reclaimed scaffolding board. My wife loving it. Thanks guys for such as interesting place.

I don’t normally do reviews but feel oldfields deserves a mention.
I have recently and in the past had oak beams for my fireplace from oldfields. The service here is second to none . Tracey, Bert and Steve do amazing work here and the timescale for work to be carried out is just incredible. Apart from wood it’s a treasure trove for all reclamation bits and pieces and worth a visit just for a browse . Yes you do need wellies if it’s a rainy day lol but oh so worth it. Nothing is too much trouble here for these guys so why not pay them a visit you won’t be disappointed .

Quiet place hidden away. I've been looking for a place to get some wood cut for shelving and Steve here was really great. I live over 30mins drive away and there are a few places closer to me but those places were hectic or just trying to sell me extremely pricey wood. Neither of which I am interested in.

However, here I was able to explain what I wanted and Steve drew some diagrams out so I knew he understood what I was asking for. He did not try to rush me or sell me anything I wasn't asking for. He cut and sanded the wood for me within a time frame of about 20 minutes - perfect!

I'd mention that he is only here from 8 -12 on mon-sat so you'll need to get there early. Really honest bloke, will be coming back here for more 🙂 🙂 🙂

We love this place. Friendly place but take your wellies if it's wet! They have everything here from roof tiles to fireplaces and great ideas for garden ornaments. Absolutely worth a visit.

We live 5 mins away and embarrassed to say that today was our first visit ... definitely won't be our last! Spoke with Keith regarding rough-edge reclaimed timber for bow window- he had lots of ideas and advice; and we'll be popping back with measurements. Tracey helped us with choosing a fireplace. Prices are great and welcome is warm.

A mountain of material to look through. I'd no idea what to expect as it really is a yard. Thing I liked most of all was the very friendly welcome we recieved from the lady running things. May not get many bargains but you will find some most interesting items.

I was after a scaffold board to make into a desk. Looked this place up, didn't realise it was so close. It's an Aladin's Cave. Found the wood I needed at the right price but the staff urged me to have a look inside before going back for the wood. I'm glad they did as it is packed with great old stuff. Anyway went back to get my wood and found a similar, more appropriate piece at the same price and they cut it to length for me. Went and fetched the car to load up and by the time I got back one of the staff was carrying the wood out to me and loaded into the car. Brilliant service. I'll be going again next time I need anything. For me there's no point in going any where else now.
