Absolutely fabulous care home - first class care for our 90 year old father - staff all went above and beyond in caring for him and making his last 5 months of life as comfortable and as happy as they could.
Always treated him with the utmost kindness and respect at all times and gave us as his family total peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for.
Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely home and cannot express how grateful we are to all of the staff - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are very happy with Oldfield Bank. Mum is settled, happy and well cared for. All of the staff are very caring and take the time to chat to residents and organise local visits and activities. It’s such a relief to know that Mum is in safe hands.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Levy (the owner), and all the staff who are caring for my elderly 92yr old aunt. Recently she has been very poorly and with their superb team they have managed to overcome her problems. They have liquidized her food at mealtimes and made sure she has had a constant supply of drinks. In general this residential home's cleanliness is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble, I could thoroughly recommend this home for yourself or any relation who wishes to live a long and happy life.

I can't thank Oldfield Bank enough for the change in my mother's condition. After 4 months in hospital and 2 months in NHS discharge to assess accommodation she'd lost the confidence to even try to get out of bed. Needing to find a local care home, I was attracted to Oldfield Bank from the website so I called to arrange a visit. As fortune would have it, the day I visited was VE Day and all the staff were dressed in 1940's costume, the lounges had been decorated to give a real 'atmosphere' to the occasion. Oldfield Bank felt homely and I knew Mum would like it there. On the day Mum arrived, they took her into the lounge and gave her lunch with the other residents, she previously had to be fed by carers. I was astonished when the ambulance driver told me she'd taken a few steps, with help from the carers, to get off the stretcher. He said 'the staff here seem really caring'. Mum is now able to sit in a chair and interact with other residents for the first time in months.
