Worst council ever. The government needs to investigate them and give the job role to people who actually want to work. Most of them give of Racist because I have been living in a ghetto area for about five years (been racially abused, my son has received threats and also got physically hurt) the council did nothing about it despite me telling them I have to move and that I can’t raise my kid here. Absolutely traumatic experience but one day Justice will be served

Oldham council are the scum of the earth, robbing innocent hardworking people, I had the property empty due to having structural work on the property and always paid council tax on time never missed a payment and just recived a letter through the post saying I have to pay 100% more council tax because my property has been empty more than 12 months, that's more than double what they have charged me. I am taking this matter to legal team.

I took my grandson to the Oldham Athletic V Gateshead football match.
I parked in the street outside the ground at the Chaddy End. Enjoyed the game, came back to a parking ticket on the car for parking in a permit only zone! No sign near the car, double yellow lines on the opposite side of the street. I walked 40 yards up the street where I found a sign. Hardly legible! Saw another car with a ticket right next to the sign! I walked down the street where I found another sign, hardly legible again! Shouldn't there be some kind of marking on the road? I saw a massive new sign on the way out of the area, Google maps didn't take us past that on the way in! Do something Oldham Council, or is it deliberate to catch people out?

Worst council in this world got fine no website to appeal or any phone numbers got fine when its 14 days period over and had to pay 70 people who work for this fine department not human at all got fine for helping some one in bad weather 👺👺👺👺👺👎👎👎👎👎

Not good at all. Been trying to get through to the housing department for the past few weeks. They dont answer the phones! just goes to a voicemail without the option to leave a message.. I'm Also emailing and not getting a response. So unprofessional.... sat in a department ignoring the job you are hired to do...?

I want to express my concern regarding the level of customer service provided by the Council Tax department at Oldham Council. On numerous occasions, I have found their approach to be less than satisfactory, often giving the impression that my inquiries are an imposition on their time. This is particularly disconcerting given the significant council tax contributions made by residents. It is reasonable to expect a certain standard of customer service, and unfortunately, my experiences have fallen short of this expectation. Could this issue be addressed to ensure better interactions in the future please

Waited 10 months on a 12 week guideline, got passed between 3 different housing officers, and got told on the final call before being refused a simple phonecall would of saved the 10 month hassle. You would have better chance getting rehomed by the cast of Sesame Street.

I have spoken to 3 different people in the council tax department, each one has told me different information and seem wholly unwilling to help. They should be ashamed, people rely on council services and they make it all but impossible to access Thier alleged 'support'
