I have worked for Omega for 7 years, I started as a support worker and now form part of the senior management team. Just like most people I was at the time struggling to get a job, the director took a chance on me, I showed my worth and have been rewarded with many promotions and personal development opportunities which has seen me remain at the highest level in the company for many years.
Just like every company in the sector we face challenges from staffing right through to recruitment but we face it collectively. Directors do not distance themselves from the workforce, they are actively involved and always looking for ways to improve the lives of children and the employee experience.
There are some amazing individuals in our organisation who bring a variety of skills, knowledge and approaches and I, the directors and all management ensure they are given every chance to showcase and build on these.
Are we the best company in the north west?, I wouldn't know because I've never worked in another. Would I ever leave Omega? Absolutely not, I love my job, the people around me and my worth is identified by the employer.
