I was initially impressed with Ongo -being a first time tenant- but after having 3 awful experiences with Ongo employees (2 of them being from a Housing Officer called Laura Gordon and the other experience from a man from customer services called 'Ed') I have changed my mind about them.
The housing officer was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was openly very mocking and confrontational when speaking with me. I just hope she doesn't set the standard for ALL Ongo employees. And the customer service person was very dismissive- he didn't want to know about my complaint and told me numerous times that he was busy and had other people to speak to. (I'm guessing Ed and Laura are known to each other) . Awful experience from awful people.

The service provided by ONGO is below sub-standard, it's dire. They really deserve '0' stars!!
The Home Ownership Team write to say there is a credit on my account as a leaseholder. However, you have to contact them to request the refund but there is no option to speak with them so you have to speak to another department. They pass on a message saying you will be contacted within 5 working days. This never happens and you have to contact them again and go through the whole process again.
The excuse is that they are a very busy department but with very few staff. So the answer for ONGO is, why don't they employ sufficient staff in that department to provide at least a reasonable service. No doubt they'll be jumping up and down if I treated them in the same manner when it comes to paying my management fee!!

Very poor services 10 weeks later and a rotten door frame in my property has still not been replaced . Yet to get another letter today to say it's been put back another 3 weeks . 2 failed attempts to turn up and fit the frame on dates they said they was coming to fit hopefully third time lucky. Overall very poor services..

My house was burgled and I was threatened by next door neighbour and police even advised and stated it was unsafe to go back but due to been told by a ongo worker Julie Jackson she there for forced me into signing my house and giving it up .and to if I didn't sign a agreement then I would of had my property taking of me which is not in any shape or reason that my house got burgled and it is unsafe she then decide that it was safe and the kids should go back into the property after been told by several police and workers that I should not go back so I have been homeless for over 3 months with no help and Julie has made the situation worse by not helping and trying to force a family into a unsafe environment and even with everything and evidence she still wont answer her phone and own up to the fact she has made it worse even with my anxiety and mental health she won't own up to it and ongo have not helped at all even tho I have a 8 month old and 2 ,5 yr old kids living in a living room is not acceptable

They refuse to deal with the issues their tenants cause. Don’t investigate ASB or anything else that’s been reported to them over and over again. Scandalous behaviour.

Since Ongo have taken over as land lord the grassed areas have become like a jungle , in 11 years the street has never looked so neglected its getting very long. Guinness did it once a week and the street was always very clean. Most people on here take pride the there gardens, but ongo don't seem to be bothered.

Very poor attitude to social housing !! Apparently if you are in social housing you have to live with anti social behaviour. No support offered !!
