We needed to empty my elderly mothers bungalow and only had a couple of weeks in which to do so.
I rang Open Door at Nelson up, described what furniture and kitchenware we needed collecting and the man that I dealt with on the phone was very helpful and booked our collection for the day after.
The two men that came was extremely polite, friendly and was in a word 'amazing '.
Thank you for such an excellent service that helps a very worthy cause.

This organisation have been tested and pulled from pillar to post over the years! The entire staff related to this longtime run furniture donator are all INVISIBLE to the public yet are the only ones that keep the place running smoothly. Everyone of them VOLUNTEERING their time previously to the public!! ♥️♥️👍👍
You do an amazing job.
I sing their praises as I did it with them in the Briercliffe base a few yrs ago now, it was cold very cold, damp, which started to affect the furniture but the Manager & his right hand man would go out of their way to arrange for huge peices of tarpaulin to cover wooden & soft furnishings that occupied the massive space in the warehouse overnight or weekend closing hours.
I have read so many of these 1star ratings judging so quickly due to phones not being answered. Take into consideration the work these guys do. Take a visit to the showroom when it's safe again to. So you know how busy they are & what they all do.
I would actually like to go back to work on the phones again if Mark would take me back!!! Lol. The organisation is wonderful to work for if ever you got the chance.

I've given you 1 star and that's too many. Why have a phone and opening hours on the website of you don't answer the phone from 9am when you should be open.
You have just missed out on a settee, corner cupboard, Oak sideboard, TV cabinet, a folding Oak table and a spin dryer.
