Had the pleasure of the care of expert nurse Sara, who had to work her magic on an issue that couldn't be dealt with by my GP's nurse. Walk in patient, and 5 min wait only. Excellent care & service. Thank you

Parking is a nightmare. Used to be quick and a great service but queues now go out the door. Waiting time is now much longer. Just go to GP or A&E instead

There is definitely room for improvement in their processes and a definite need to up-skill their staff members.

Apparently just because they gave me crutches and a walker boot, NHS staff considers that the full treatment has been provided to me.
After an injury as a minimum a patient should be immediately told how serious the injury is instead of being sent home to wait for a call from a “specialist”. It is also important to let patient know what he/she can or cannot do during healing to make sure that no further damage is done to the injured body part, perhaps even be given a referral to see a physiotherapist, be provided a report for the workplace explaining why patient won’t be able to come to work and how long he / she will be absent from work.

The general lack of care by this establishment and dismissive approach is absolutely disgusting.

9 days have gone by since my visit to OMI unit, but no call from so called “NHS specialist”…

In the end i had to go through private medical insurance to seek appropriate medical care.

I honestly don’t like hospitals nor seeing doctors not that I hate them it’s just that I don’t like seeing syringes and surgical equipment😅, any illnesses or sickness disappear when I enter hospitals but once I leave the health issue kicks in again that’s all cus of fear😀😅. This place is a great place, very professional nurses and receptionists very well mannered and know what they are doing. I visited minor injuries twice in 2 weeks for my left thumb pain and x ray twice, I was taken care and treated very well and excellent. Especially the last nurse I have seen on 18/ or 19/ may 2024 was humble and professional, knowledgeable Thank you for your care and professional you all. Stay safe

The nurses were friendly & attentive, polite receptionist, clean premises. Only issue is the waiting time. I was in there for 4hrs to have an x-ray on my leg. But I know that’s not really their fault as they’re understaffed.

This place is for minor injuries. I had been bitten by a dog, so my pharmacist referred me here. More serious issues should go to hospital. I was very satisfied with the care I received at Orsett Minor Injury Unit. The wait time was absolutely fine, and I was taken in by Linda, who did everything with speed and professionalism. This is a job well done by the NHS, thank you!
